The Unitech RS700 UHF RFID Reader is designed to increase inventory visibility, efficiency and business profitability. Supporting a global frequency range of 860MHz - 960MHz, the RS700 is capable of reading and writing all tags that conform to the EPC Global Gen2 and ISO18000-6C standards. The RS700 also includes integrated middleware that facilitates the accelerated installation and deployment of RFID projects. The Unitech RS700 middleware features Smart Reader Server (SRS) and Smart Reader Server Remote Control (SRSRC). Various reader settings, such as read, write and report generation, can all be managed remotely using SRSRC. The data management and filtering capabilities of the RS700 SRS serve to alleviate most data read loading problems and keep network traffic flowing smoothly. In addition, the RS700 is easily integrated into current IT infrastructures through Microsoft BizTalk Server, Oracle Sensor Edge Server and other leading database systems. To meet the needs of various IT environments, the Unitech RS700 provides accurate data transmission from client to host, including a CCX compatible 802.11b/g solution, Ethernet, USB and RS232. The RS700 offers antenna options for various reading environments, and provides support for up to 8 channels and 4 reading points. The RS700’s durable design and IP65-rated environmental enclosure ensure high performance in harsh conditions. This means maximum device uptime, reduced repair costs, and an overall lower cost of ownership. Supported by a built-in 4000mAH backup battery, the Unitech RS700 provides for data backup and smooth operational functionality.
