What is Launcher Mode?

ELauncher Lockscreen

Designed to replace the Android counterpart, IT admins can feel more assured that the screen lock will not pose security concerns. Through setup the PIN code to unlock the lockscreen,  users are still able to make emergency phone calls on the lockscreen in case of an emergency.

ELauncher Dashboard

Designed to replace the Android stock status bar drop down menus, allowing IT admins have more controls over to what are being displayed on that drop down menu.

Notification Restrictions IT admins can setup the notifications whether are“interactive”or not, depending on their needs. Admin Mode

Admin Mode is a feature that all the ELauncher Settings can be accessed and changed. Inside the Admin Mode page, users can even Exit the ELauncher completely. It can be accessed from the Dashboard, and setup a password to prevent unauthorized access to these settings. The following are the things users can do in the Admin Mode：
 

Configure ELauncher settings, including App Pages, App Dock, Dashboard, Lockscreen and the rest of key features explained in this document. Export Settings to a file and deploy the setting to other devices running ELauncher. Exit ELauncher temporarily to get access to the Android home screen. Set ELauncher as the default Launcher. Set the Admin Mode PIN Code to prevent unauthorized access to the Admin Mode settings. Load the Android Settings app from ELauncher without leaving ELauncher completely. Hide Notifications on Android system screen lock. Show or hide Notifications on the Notification Tab of the Dashboard.

Supports features from ELauncher V1.5, preventing users from a threat to the security of the device.

Recent Key Lock

By using the Recent Key Lock feature，it will ensure users cannot use this key to switch to an unauthorized app, which can be accidentally executed by another app, or by the system.

Safe Mode Lock

Designed for troubleshooting problems that can be enabled to  prevent certain features or apps from running. The Safe Mode Lock will render the device useless once it detects that device is booted into Safe Mode.
